02 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
03 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
04 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
05 - 3.5 ounces shredded cheddar cheese

→ Meats

06 - 7 ounces sliced turkey breast

→ Vegetables

07 - 2 ounces fresh baby spinach leaves, washed and dried

→ Seasonings

08 - Salt, to taste
09 - Black pepper, to taste

# Step-by-Step:

01 - Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, shredded cheddar, salt, and black pepper in a medium mixing bowl. Blend thoroughly until smooth.
02 - Place a tortilla on a clean surface. Evenly spread one-quarter of the cheese mixture across the entire tortilla.
03 - Arrange approximately 1.75 ounces sliced turkey breast in a single layer atop the cheese mixture.
04 - Evenly distribute a handful (about 0.5 ounces) of spinach leaves over the turkey.
05 - Starting from one edge, roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape.
06 - Repeat steps for the remaining tortillas and fillings.
07 - Wrap each filled tortilla log with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to facilitate clean slicing.
08 - Remove plastic wrap and trim ends. Using a chef's knife, cut each log into 6 even pinwheels.
09 - Arrange pinwheels on a serving platter. Offer chilled or at room temperature.

# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • Hidden inside every pinwheel is a creamy, tangy layer that keeps things exciting—trust me, they're never bland.
  • They're quick to prepare and almost impossible to mess up, which makes them my go-to for last-minute gatherings.
02 -
  • If you skip chilling, the pinwheels will squish and unravel as you slice—always give them time to set.
  • Patting turkey slices dry before rolling keeps everything firm and the tortillas from getting soggy.
03 -
  • Warming tortillas for a few seconds makes them easier to roll without cracking.
  • Rolling tightly but not too forcefully keeps all layers in place without squeezing out the filling.
